To say goodbye to a friend, hero and band member whose playing has been a hallmark of the STRATOVARIUS sound for more than 10 years, in November the band embarked on a five-concert farewell tour of Finland.
"We can only accept Jörg's decision with great sadness and wish him all the best for the future. But we can assure you that the band will continue to exist," says STRATOVARIUS vocalist Timo Kotipelto.
Before returning to the public with a new studio album, STRATOVARIUS released a two-hour live Blu-ray, which was recorded in the Finnish city of Tampere on November 19, 2011 at one of the band's last concerts with Michael.
